450c steering clutches

450c 79 model as in the owners manual tm1102 do we start adjusting with the steering lever adjustment under the seat or as in the manual number 4 brake lever stop screw or number 7 adjusting nut?

I don't have your manual to read and there are likely some differences in the manuals. The manuals I do have (430, 450B, 450E) are laid out in the order to follow. Looking at my 450E manual for adjusting steering clutches and brakes, I would follow the way the procedure is written in your technical manual (TM1102).

If LeonardL or one of the fellows more familiar with the 450C sees this, they may have a different thought.
