Just by whats in the serial I think this thing is a 9550 and not a 9250 as previously thought . Im sure to those that know it will be an easy guess . Is there a John deere serial lookup site ? Hell , I dont see how to attach a photo . In the serial it has 9550 twice....

I do not know of any "open to the public serial number listings for attachments (or a lot of equipment). Your dealer might be able to find out something, but even that won't be easy I am going to guess.

If it has 9550 on the tag, I am pretty sure it is a 9550. Use the link below to go to the Parts Catalog for the 9550 backhoes. Read the Introduction document located in the Documents section below the parts catalog. It has info on the serial number breakdown but does not give you any years to correspond with the unit numbers.

Thanks , the serial starts * T09550X0 and the model field on the tag is empty... I think that tells the tales but I will see if I can get a pic up so guys that know better can have a peek. If nothing else its nice to see one in such nice shape... THe little ribs on the handles arent even worn down and all those hoses still have the JD pint on em. Seeing if this works

That is a 9550 serial number. I have seen a number of attachments with the model and serial numbers run together as one.

I figured as much , thanks for confirming. Now I am trying to unstick every single valve on it.... Not fun. I dont even understand how they stick when the valves are full of oil...
