frozen 1 1/4 drawbar pin on 350b

Post by ozzie » Sat Oct 03, 2015 7:39 pm

Need to check final drive oil, BUT ,I have a factory counterweight that the d/b is also attached to.Weight must come off to ck.oil level. D/B & weight all un-
bolt easily .The 1 1/4 pin holding the D/B (in front of weight) is frozen. The
pin has to install upside down w/snap pin holding it(only 1/2 ' clearance on
top(D/B & weight have to both come off together or weight will not drop)
Have used air impact & pentr.oil to vibrate loose. All toll 8-10 hrs.
HELP NEEDED TO GET THE D/B #x*"? PIN UNFROZEN (no room for torch)

If you can weld upside down, weld a large nut to the pin and rotate it with an impact wrench.
