JD 450 MFG Date

I have a TYPE 450 C A Serial Number 201788T, Crawler, Anyone have any Idea what year it was MFG'd and what the A might mean in the type.

Im not sure what year that s/n equates to but im pretty sure that the A designates what the machine is (i.e. a diesel loader or a dlesel inside mount dozer etc etc) If you have a good paper parts book it breaks down the serial numbers in the front prefix section.
