Jd 450 HLR wont move need part have pictures

Post by georgia088 » Sun Oct 26, 2025 3:15 am

After removing engine and replacing drive clutch from flywheel because loader would not move at all, there was no fix. So, I took transmission cover off. It was a pain to get off by the way. When I got it off I found a broken steel line that appears to go to the hlr control valve. Has anyone ever seen this happen? I’m assuming this broken line would prevent the loader from moving? Any idea what the part number is? Or, where I can get one?

This is a jd450. I don’t see a letter but I know it has a dry clutch and HLR shifter.

It is the bottom line that is broken I moved it in the picture to be able to see.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome to the Boards.

I have posted what I have been able to figure out on Yesterday's Tractors, where you have been asking about this. Maybe one of the fellows here will have different/better info for you. The broken line appears to be the pump to accumulator line.

Don't be surprised if you find your post has been moved the Late Models Board. That is the location used here for posts about the 350/450 and newer built crawlers. A moderator will likely move it over there when they see it.

I am attaching your YT thread for the benefit of those here that might not see it or can correct something I might have mixed up on.
