Back with having problems again. 450C Dozer trams, steers, change gears and works like it should. About a hour into working it the trans will start to get hot. Found a clogged trans cooler, replaced it. Now I’m not getting any pressure out of the side of the trans on the blade control side that runs up to the cooler. I took both lines off on the side of trans, dozer still trams and works fine, just never getting any fluid coming out of there. Does the trans pump send the fluid up there or are they another internal screen?
Fresh fluid along with a clean pick up screen.

Re: 450C Hot trans
So did you replace the cooler filter? It is a spin on filter out inside the nose? The cooler is fed by the return oil after it has ran through the transmission. So essentially it is the lube oil side of the transmission hydraulics. So yes the transmission pump is the one feeding everything.
Another possibility is the cooler bypass is stuck or clogged up. Unfortunately it is located behind a plug or cap on the front of the transmissions front cover. So it means pulling the motor to see if it is your culprit.

Re: 450C Hot trans
Yes, I did. I took the plug out where you shim to get more pressure, they were some junk in it. Now if I take the hose off before the spin on filter I get 10 pounds at idle and around 25 up in RPM.
If I try to use the plug on the elbow on the right side at your feet I don’t get anything.
