JD 350 Crawler/Loader Mechanics Repair Guide & Parts
Troops,
Well...it was a torrid love affair, but it is now over. A few weeks ago my old JD 350 Crawler Loader with Medel 95 Backhoe made it's last trip down the driveway to a new home. Left behind is a complete mechanics repair guide and owners manual for both, the crawler and the backhoe. I also have a few brand new spare parts which I will not need anymore - obviously - and I'd like to get them to someone who can use them.
So - give me $25.00 and you get everything I have left. Everything.
I will update with photos when I get the chance.

Re: JD 350 Crawler/Loader Mechanics Repair Guide & Parts
Hello ,
I'm new to this site but if these items are still available, I'd be interested in them! I just purchased a JD 350 (straight no letters), I believe from what can ascertain from the serial number (003437U) that it's a 1965 model.
Please let me know if you still have them.
Thank you kindly,
JDsJD350

Re: JD 350 Crawler/Loader Mechanics Repair Guide & Parts
Welcome to the Boards.
Where did you find the number, you posted as the serial number? It doesn't look right. Is this a raised casting number on a cast metal component? If it is part of a tag number found on a blade or loader those are not the crawler serial number. The serial number for a 350 should be stamped into a metal tag riveted to the panel below the front of the seat, about behind the operator's calf when sitting in the seat. There will be an alpha and numeric section ahead of the 6-digit unit number followed by a T (letter designation for the Dubuque plant). from the serial number list on the FAQ Board here the first 350 serial number was 10001 (010001 with all 6-digits shown).

One the FAQ Board here, Stan Disbrow posted a thread with the JD publication numbers for the manuals for the different JD crawlers. It is about the 17th thread down. Use the Service Manual, Operator's Manual and Parts Catalog shown in his thread to get the right manuals, once you confirm your model. Note that the crawler manuals of that vintage may not include info on attachments like the blade, loader and their related hydraulics.
Hope you and Catenary Kid make contact and his manuals are right for your machine. If not, contact Lavoy and he can likely get you what you need through his store.

Re: JD 350 Crawler/Loader Mechanics Repair Guide & Parts
Does this 350 have a loader on it? I ask as that looks like it might be a loader serial number, not the crawler serial number and the loader serial number tags were on the dash. That number is just for the loader attachment, not the crawler itself. The tag may start with 7350, ahead of the number you posted.
Review the picture I posted for the crawler serial number location and the picture below gives you more info on which serial numbers are where. If there is a serial number tag on the front panel of the left side battery box it is not a straight 350. If you find a tag post the entire string of info on it to help determine what you have.

Yes, it does have a loader on it, I will check and see if I can find any other tags/plates on it.
Thank you for your expertise and assistance , this is the first JD track loader I've owned so I'm trying to learn as much as I can about it, which is why I'm also trying to get a service and parts manual for it.

Re: JD 350 Crawler/Loader Mechanics Repair Guide & Parts
Well I got part of my serial number tag, it says "T4E1D" or "14E10", it was hard to read in fact I couldn't make out the other part. I will try again tonight maybe it will be easier without all the sun glare!

Re: JD 350 Crawler/Loader Mechanics Repair Guide & Parts
Per the manual page I posted above, here is the breakdown of the model info you posted of what is on the tag.
SN = serial number
T = Tractor
4= JD350
E= Crawler - Loader
1 = Gasoline
D= Sliding Gear Transmission, with reverser
Serial number: ?????? If you can get these 6 digits the year can be determined. (Serial numbers below 100000 may only have 5 digits stamped into the tag.)
