Jd 350c clutch problems

Post by TVARGAS » Fri Jun 27, 2025 8:44 am

I have a 1981 350c dozer which acts like a clutch problem as it frequently seems to have no drive in forward or reverse. It will move in lower gears but if I put too much pressure on the blade it won’t move until I let up. Both the reverser and transmissions are full of oil. Could it be a pump or are the clutch packs worn? It has no trouble turning left or right. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have done this with any regularity, I would guess the clutch packs are pretty burned by now. Have you changed the oil and filter? Checked system pressure? Checked clutch engagement pressure?
