Question about hydraulic pressure on JD 450 Loader with 93A backhoe

Post by koticimage@gmail.com » Sat Sep 14, 2024 11:16 am

Recently purchased a JD 450 crawler loader with a 93A backhoe. The machine is in really good condition and everything works well. The only thing is that when I got stuck, I tried using the backhoe to get me out and it seemed as if the backhoe has weak pressure or the pressure relief is set really low. The loader has no problem lifting the front end but the backhoe stabilizers don't even try to lift the rear. Purchased the OPs and service manuals for the 450 but hoping that I don't have to buy the one for the backhoe. I've changed the hydraulic fluids and filter. Does anyone have a similar setup that can tell me if this is normal? Does your stabilizers lift your machine? Thanks.
