264 clutch setting gauge

What is the measurement for the depth on the 264 gauge? 4 years ago I bought new steering clutch disks and a gauge from the deer dealer. Fiber disks not metallic. The setting gauge was OTC JD264A part number. I ended up adjusting the clutch fingers about 1/4 to 3/8" tighter. Running out adjustment on the clutch fork adjustment bolt. Installed 9'fibers and 8 metal disks. Was playing around with the adjustments for awhile and ended up parking it for 4 years. Now I have it back apart. Hoping to get this problem fixed this time.
