My retired AC mechanic (sold my HD6) says I need can't weld the old muffler, and that the fuel leak requires a new lift pump (manual calls this a fuel transfer pump) to fix. Question - seems to leak near engine, so will a new seal (o ring /packing) fix this?
Ser # is 264065 T. Any one (hello Lavoy) have a line on where to purchase these parts? Prices? Thanks, Russ

Search is your friend. Going to try "robert s dier and sons + john deere in chatsworth ontario" for a muffler. Any other suggestions would be appreciated for muffler or fuel lift pump.
