440ic 350b track and undercarage

Post by gunner » Tue Nov 09, 2010 7:37 pm

Hi. I am new here and new to John Deere. I have a 440 with a nearly new undercarage that blew out a final drive. Tonight I bought a 350b that seems to be a great unit but the undercarage has a lot of ware. I have been measuring and they seem to be the same. Could they be the same? Thanks for any help.

It could be, if the previous owner replaced the original 440 tracks with 350 tracks- this thread will answer your question:

if you are thinking about swapping the tracks from your 440 onto the 350 (assuming they were replaced with 350 tracks), I think you will find there are not as many links on each side and you will need to get a different set of tracks anyhow.
