first i want to say thanks for everyones help on questions in the past that i've had , this is a great site. i have 1 350 dozer and the lifting cylinders for the blade are rubbing really bad against the top of the motor cover. what would cause this, it seems like its worse on the left side.

How tight is the mounting for the main frame? If thats loose the whole assemble could be moving over.

Yes it is so hard to tell with out photos can you post some ?.Does the blade have much side to side movement when lifted just clear of the ground ?.What hours are on this machine ? The main pins usually got a fair slop in them and I know my 350D has rub rails on the housing but I am not sure if the 350C did Deere did have rub rails as O.E. parts to weld on the later 450s but never really looked at the 350s but have noticed no two 450s have the same clearance some times they have all the paint on then various stages of rubbing and grinding .Digitup.

looking futher into this i found that the mounting frames where loose and the bushings are bad on the c-frame . i replaced the bushings and put new bolts on the mounting frame and its like new , no side to side movement at all.
