Question about getting to steering clutch

I'm trying to adjust the steering clutch on a 1966 450 dozer and have a question about removing the top cover. Where is the top cover? In perticular the left side. Do I have to remove the battery box and fuel tank to get to the top cover? I've found the side cover but the top cover has me puzzled.

Top cover on my 450b is under battery box on left side and under tank on right. Is about 5 inches wide and 10 long and has 5 bolts. Should be about same on straight 450. Don't need to remove anything but seat for this one but if have to replace clutches all top has to come off. Just redone my left side. Hardest part is breaking track. Hope is some help.
