550A trans. problems

when dozer transmission warms up no power to push,any help thanks

Watch the transmission pressure guage as the pressure deminishes the slippage increaes . the friction plates arent pushing enough to get proper engagement .Don't run it too much as the heat will warp the friction plates .I am not shure where the pressure test port is to test for transmission oil pressure if you don't have a functioning guage.Those early 550 dash guages aren't the most accurate either.Digitup.
