Hi,
They need to be stored online, like on Photobucket or some such place. Looks like you put in a line pointing to the directory on your own computer.
They get put on using a line like this:
[ IMG]http://i902.photobucket.com/albums/ac22 ... D420c2.jpg[/IMG ]
Which gets you this:

On Photobucket, you open a second browser window and can see all your online shots. You put the mouse pointer on top of the image thumbnail you want and a dialog box pops up. Just select the IMG line and copy it onto the clipboard. Then, over here, just paste that IMG line into the post and you're there.
Note that I added extra spaces to the starting and ending brackets to break the link so you can see what the code line looks like. If I hadn't, you'd see two copies of the photo instead on one code line and a photo.
I delayed posting photos for a couple years because I hadn't signed up for online photo hosting. There's no space on the forum server for all of us to store our shots, so one need the 3rd party hosting service.
