Lavoy, you'd love it here now, 2 ft of snow! I've had to push berms out 2 times to keep a driving lane in my 1\2 mile driveway. Snow off my roof is over 5' high now.
My 420 will be pushing snow again tomorrow!
Problem.... A couple days back I need to do snow pushing. It was very cold, been in low single digits 2 nights before. When I hit the starter it was "clunk", nothing.... Locked up! I was really dreading removing the starter.
Sitting next to it is my Kubota mini excavator. Worth a try. I started it and drove around to the front of the crawler. Lucky I backed it in. I put it in second gear and bumped the blade with the Kubota blade. Second bump, I saw the tracks move a bit.
Got off went to the 420, hit the starter, she fired right up! Talk about relieved!!
Snow!!
Re: Snow!!
We got around a foot here, 1-5" tonight and high winds. We also got cold with it, -30 last weekend, close again Thursday.
Haven't got my new crawler going yet, maybe next week.

Re: Snow!!
Hi,
We had our first snow here in NC. 2 1/2 inches. It didn't need plowing with a tractor, much less a crawler.
