I have for sale a 1955 John Deere Crawler 40C (four roller). It was located on a relatives farm when he passed away. He was in the process of restoring it, so much if it is in pieces, but all of it should be present. The engine has been gone through and rebuilt (runs), the rear clutches were worked on. Treads have been tightened up and are installed. The blade is included. The seat mount and track guards appear to be made aftermarket. However the coolant system is not completed, so it can't drive under its own power yet. This is a perfect project piece. The hood and grill are in good shape. I have been told the grill piece is off of an M model. I would love to see this go to someone who will get it running again. I know that is what he would have wanted.
This is an AS IS, Where IS sale. It is currently on a trailer, so I might be able to provide some limited transportation for a small fee.
Asking 1500, I think this a reasonable price for condition.
