Good morning-
I thought I would let others know that there are two JD crawlers at a consignment auction in southwest MO (between Preston, MO and Hermitage, MO) this Saturday, August 3. One is a JD 350 crawler dozer; the other is a JD 450 crawler loader.
There is only one photo of each and little detail, so I don't even know if they are straight models or a later B or C model and don't know if they are running machines. I am thinking of calling the auctioneer about another piece in the auction so will update this if I get more info. The dozer does appear to have a hydraulic four or six way blade, and the loader has some type of FOPS or ROPS. The 450 is a diesel; not sure about the 350.
Here is a link to the sale bill and the photos:

Again, I do not know the auctioneers or the consigners personally and do not know these machines, but have attended one previous auction with this auctioneer. I thought some may be interested so thought I would post.

JD 350 Dozer, 450 Loader at SW MO Auction 08/03/13
(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
I got a little more info about the crawlers from the auctioneer for those potentially interested; mind you he is not a crawler expert:
450: Thinks it is a straight 450. Runs and drives. No rear attachment. Diesel engine runs excellent. Undercarriage at least partially replaced (he said new pins and bushings) since he's known it (its apparently his inlaws crawler). Steering clutches are weak.
350: Thinks it is a straight 350. Runs and drives. No rear attachments. Came from a landscaping company in KC MO. He thinks 6 way hydraulic blade, but didn't look closely at it. Diesel engine.
He was in a hurry so didn't have time to ask him about serial number tags. He said these would not sell until noon at earliest.
