Steer Clutches

Post by dkeyser » Fri Jun 02, 2006 6:22 pm

Well,
I got the steer clutches off on the right and two of te springs were off by the thowout bearing, and there was a sleave over the shaft that was being chewed up, what is te purpose of this sleave? Alos I pulled the pressure plate off and there are two fiber plates right under it and on broken one about half way down. All of the metal plates have rust and some ptting, can I just clean them up? Do I have to replace all the fibers?

Tube is what the throwout bearing holder slides on.
Should be 7 fiber, 6 steel.
I have all of the parts you listed on hand.
