Propeller Shaft Assembly

Post by Stans40c » Sun Feb 12, 2006 6:42 pm

Anybody out there know the lenght of the propeller shaft (am 2675t) from the end of the spline that goes in the clutch to the end that goes toward the transmission. I need to weld a new spline on the transmission end and also need to know what distance to drill the hole for the pin(am1513T) Any help would be great! [/list]

From the end that goes on transmission to end of splines toward front of engine is 29 3/4 inches, then tapers at a 45 degee angle to pilot shaft. Pilot shaft is 1" long and .6875" diameter. Hole through transmission input shaft end is .35" from transmission end of propeller shaft. Looks like hole is about .195" in diameter, probably 3/16" before the wear in the used one that I bought.
