1010 diesel eng rebuild

My 1010 diesel engine has bad liner plate. The crawler has been setting for about nine years and the piston rings have marked up the piston bore real bad on # two cylinder. How is the best way to rebuild? Is there anywhere else to buy engine parts other than John Deere dealer? It is a 1963 1010c between 31000-42000. Thanks for any help.

I have rebuild kits available for them, but liners and pistons are a Deere item only even in the kits I have.
