Front Idler and throwing tracks

Post by steamfitter99 » Sun Nov 20, 2005 7:49 pm

I need to rebuild the front bogies of a 420c. I was wondering if someone has the bearing numbers for the bearings, and maybe the shaft number as well. Thanks, Steamfitter99 :P

Streamfitter-

There aren't any bearings as such. There are big bushing in the idler there. I left my books about 90 miles away from me this weekend as that is where my final drive is so I can't give you those part numbers right now. Should have them after Turkey day.

As for the axle for it... Are you sure you need a new one? I'm thinking they'd be outrageous if they are still available from Deere.

I will try to get those numbers for you .. I do think I have a CD copy of my parts manual arround here somewhere.

Thanks, I have not torn into it yet. I wanted to know what I was up against before I began. Thanks, Steamfitter99

Streamfitter-

Axle is - M 3785T
Bushing - M 2266T
Seal - AM 2011T

Seal prices just dropped in the last 6 months from $45 ea. to ~$20ea if I remember correct. I know it happened about 3 weeks after I bought two seals.. ohh well.

These are all the same componets for the undercarriage parts (all the rollers and front idler.)
