how much is supposed to hanging of the back?
i have 2, the book says 5, how much do they weigh a piece?
i am thinking of adding more or finding the correct weights.

With scarifier 3, without, 5, they are a little over 200lbs each.

i didn't exactly want to unbolt them and pick one up. your saying there should be 1000# hanging out there, 600# would make a big diff. i did not even think about the scarifier. do you know where a fellow could find one?or weights

On occasion I have weights, scarifiers are hard to come by.

thats what i got to thinking, i may just go to the scrap yard and find some thick plate steel.
i guess i dont really need a scriffier, it just would be neat
