1010 oil filter gasket

Post by robk » Wed Mar 23, 2016 11:25 am

I've got 6 oil filter elements for my 1010 diesel (#AH 1082 RT) but no gaskets. The gaskets are rectangular in section so they're not O-rings (measure 4" OD x 0.100" wide x 0.125" deep). My local auto parts store says the Deere number above converts to Purolator #PUR-L20003 or Fram #C138PL. Anyone got gaskets?

Hi,

I am sure Lavoy has them. Do you still have the tin bottom plates? The ones most folks toss out with the old filter? Lavoy has them, too.

thanks Stan - I'll have to check on the bottom plates. I don't remember. I almost addressed this to Lavoy... but I don't want to give him a fat head.
