JD 2010 loader, stuck hydraulic track adjusters..
What can be done? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are they stuck out or in? If out then you can remove the plug on each one and push the front idler back using another piece of equipment or even a long 4" x 4" using the loader. Stuck in would be harder as you would probably pull the adjuster out of the spring assembly trying those same methods.
I will point out if the adjusters are really stuck those methods could cause some damage on expensive, hard to get undercarriage parts such as the front idler brackets. They do sell aftermarket hydraulic adjusters (Lavoy sells them here) which may be better in the long run if your existing ones are already stuck, unless you car trying to restore your crawler with the original adjusters.

Track adjusters stuck.
The adjusters are stuck in. Thanx for the info and advice. I just bought this machine. I have the service manual and thought this was going to be a relatively easy thing to do, but as with anything I think is going to be simple it isn't.

I would remove them from the machine, try to use a grease gun to push the adjuster completely apart and clean up everything real well.
some heat may be needed to get the grease to soften up some.
I have used a cylinder hone to clean up the bore and they came out real nice.
if the piston tube itself is pitted and rusty, you would be better off getting new ones from Lavoy.
I have always used synthetic grease in track adjusters, doesn't need to be expensive stuff...just the type that doesn't harden up.

Stuck adjusters
I appreciate all the advice.
2010 stuck track adjusters.
Well I got the problem solved. Thanx for all the help. I used a torch and removed the zerk and bleeder and the front loader/4x4 methods as suggested. Worked like a charm. Replaced with new zerk and a good grease gun. Thanx all.
