will a 622 blade fit a 440 ?

Post by pop pop » Mon Oct 12, 2015 5:37 pm

i dont think so.
i measured it and the blade frame seems to be too narrow, by an inch.
i may be wrong so i'm throwing the question out there for the Xspurts.
622 blade was the 6way blade that was on the 2010's.
those with a 2010, how wide is the nose?

I believe the blade with the inside frame from a 1010 will fit a 440...if that helps. gregjo1948

somebody with a 2010 - run out and measure how wide the nose is.
the 440 nose is right at about 25" and from what i can tell the 622 frame is 24" at its narrowest point on the inside.
now i dont know if the corrosponding bumps and wider spots will match , i may have to cut the rub bars down and modify the 622 frame right where the cyl. shield is...thats the narrowest spot.
also seems like it would be too tight elsewhere.
440icd/602/8a,,440icd/831/ripper,,440icd/831/3pt.,misc. 440 parts, i have 5 of these now, but i can stop anytime

Reasonably sure it won't fit, it was designed for a larger frame crawler.
