Hi,

They were painted both ways. Green for ag, yellow for industrial. No real difference when it comes to the machine. Usually owners repaint them, but sometimes, they yanked bits across the factory and repainted on the fly.

For example, my 420c is green all the way, except the reverser which is yellow under green. I know it was ordered Ag because my uncle sold it new, then got it back 10 years later.

So, now you get to check all your main castings to see if they are green under yellow or not. :P

Oh, and the track frames were all yellow, as were the sprockets and idlers. So don't bother looking there. ;)

Keep in mind if you go hyd, you will need an auxiliary hyd system consisting of a larger pump, reservoir and valve. OEM hyd will run about a 1,000 winch very, very slowly.

Hi,

There is always the option of hanging a big hyd pump on the PTO. But, if it were me, I would put a PTO driven winch on the back....

You need a PTO driven winch, really the only thing that will work well and survive long term.
