420 stuck clutch

Post by Gotrocksinhead » Wed Mar 05, 2025 3:13 pm

Strange question: my 57' 420c has been sitting for about a year outside but off the ground and covered with a tarp. I got it running and went to put it in gear and nothing. It's like the clutch is refusing to engage. The clutch pedal pushes in but no clutch movement. Strange because that's opposite of a stuck clutch that refuses to disengage. I can run the motor and pull the crawler with my truck but the clutch will not engage the motor. Any thoughts? It ran fine before sitting.
