Hello
I got my 420c running this morning!! Now that it runs I found some other issues. The first and biggest problem is the right steering clutch is stuck. The main clutch and brake peddle are froze together. The 2 bolts that hold the throttle bracket to the water manifold and then to the head are striped. When you raise the loader it drifts back down. There are alot of other small things but thats a start. Im just glad that it runs and moves!!

Thats what I like about these old girls. Once you get them running it's a passion. I have overhauled the motor, rebuilt both steering clutchs, replaced undercarriage, rebuilt hydraulic pump and cylinders.( My wife thinks I have completey lost my mind )
I figure when I get done, that I will have a John Deere that will have cost twice as much as its new price. But I have had a great time rebuilding this machine and giving her a second chance at life.
I plan on using the old girl around the farm.
Good luck.
