Does anybody know did all MC crawlers have a idler hub in the idler wheel. I have just taken mine apart and there is none. I don't see how one would fit either. Thank you the help

Sixty years out ,multiple owners and creative repairs could be be the answer. The original idler is cast steel with a tapered steel insert on either side where the axle is installed. If this is not what you have then you could have any number of creative answers to getting one more year out of it.Luck,JimAnderson

Jim thank you that's what I have. I feel much better now. The repair manual show two idler wheel hub ( bushings) to me. That go inside the idler wheel. That's why I was question it and could not see were they would fit.

The bushings they are referring to is the large tapered cone you are looking at. If yours does not have them, you would just have a 4" hole so to speak in the middle of your idler.

I see were the ideler bushing's can be replaced but what about the ideler brackets? It seems that they have equal amount of where.
What can be done with those?
