rails

Post by Howard Yoder » Sat Jun 24, 2006 7:54 pm

Got to the Springfield show this morning and went strait to the auction and found a rail with 35 links in it 2 bolt was waiting on it to sell and Dennis Polk had to go to the bathroom so when he came back out ask him if that line of stuff had sold yet and he told me yes so I ask him how much the rails sold for and he told me $400. Now to make you sick they where nos. I know 1 side wouldn't have done much good but you never know when you might find another side. Well at least the wife is happy I didn't buy anything although I should have bought the 440 forklift it brought $6250 and was in really good shape. That would have been a nice machine to use around the shop and take to shows.

I assume you mean the rubber tired forklift? My brother had one, and it would go through just about anything, real handy setup.

Yes it was rubber tired and the tires where in great shape the only things I seen wrong with it it didn't have the right hood on it and where the mast hooked up for the tilt it had side shift and the pipe that slid back and forth had been rewelded. Other than that it was a great looking machine.
