420c track questions

hi to all,i just bought my first 420c.i was told it was a 55 and i bought it from the original owner.in my opinon it is in great shape other that the under carriage.the chains are wore out,are new ones availible?could i repin them?my next question is the front idler,it has a terrible amount of slop,is there a bushing in there?any other info would be great

Robbie , yes there are bushings in there . They run around $28 a piece from a JD dealer .
Pins and bushings you will have to wait until Lavoy posts .
A parts manual and a service manual are a great help when working on these crawlers . You can find them here .

Pins and bushings are still current from Deere, about $1600 for a 5 roller set I believe. They are available aftermarket, normally I stock several sets, but currently there is virtually no inventory in the US.
