BO Lindeman help needed

Post by bvandragt » Sun May 04, 2008 8:30 pm

Hello,
I am working on a 1946 BO Lindeman and need some parts and/or information. I have one sprocket that is loose on the axle. Somebody welded the end of the axle so the sprocket won't fall off, but I would like to fix it properly. I haven't taken it apart, but I'm guessing I will need another sprocket and axle, unless only the sprocket splines are damaged. Does anybody have these parts? Also, I have a hydraulic system and toolbar with a blade. I would like to get the factory hydraulic lines that go from the hydraulic unit, under the tractor and out to the toolbar cylinders. The Lindeman part number is AE2153Y for hand start tractors. If I can't find one for sale, I would like to make one as close to original as possible, so if somebody has a real one, I would like pictures and dimensions. I also need the wrenches that hold the toolbar arms in their sockets. Does anybody have originals for sale, or pictures of originals so I can make some out of generic box wrenches?

Thanks,
Brian

Axle and sprocket will be hard to find at the least, a good pair even more difficult, there are just not enough around.
The only way to get the lines would be to make them. Seems to me they are mostly common pipe and fittings, so not that difficult.
