MC Grille

Looking at the photo albums noticed that the 40 looks like the grille that I have on my MC did The company change grilles or do I have diferent Tin? My serial # falls in the third year MC was made. Thanks Mr. B

In later years if you ordered a new grille for your MC, they sent you a 40 grille with an MC tag. Also, a 40 grille will go rihgt on, so it is possible that a used grille was installed at some time. It is a fairly common sight, I have seen more than I can think of.

Thanks, I almost needed a new one the first year I got it when a branch wacked it but rolled the dent back out. Built a brush gaurd that works better. I have a tool box on the fender and was told that it came with the dozer as a option. Buying a better seat, like a wrap around. Our local tractor store has one that looks like the original pictures you have on the site. Thanks for a great site. I see that I am not the only one that loves the old machines. My wife calls it my toy. It may be slow but after all those years it amazes me how good they are built. Mr. B
