Thanks for the info, much appreciated. It does have a dipstick on left side of gear shifter and a small 4 bolt plate under the seat. I tried to post a pick on the original post but i did something wrong.

Hi All, Just bought an antique JD dozer and i am scratching my head to identify the model and year. The identification plate is no longer on the dozer and from my research i believe it is a 440IC. If i am correct, i assume it is a 58 or 59 as the throttle is on the left side of dash plate. Any help ...
