Re: rear main seal tool

Thanks figures crossed all back together and fires up. I think she sounds good but I'm going to run it and get the break in done then ill haul it back north and install. The press tool i had was junk and caused me a lot of pain. I finally got it done and no leak as of yet so far so good.

rear main seal tool

Hello i purchased a tool to install the rear main seal on my JD 350. It seems the bolts are about .25-or so to long on the first part that you attach to the main crank .I'm assuming to start the seating of the main seal that the first part of the tool should be tight against the main crank. I watche...

Re: 3310 winch parts

Ok thanks at least that's a lead. I think ultimately, they will be scrap. For the parts that are no good in them most likely will be same in all. I do have a good hydraulic controller.

Anyone know if parts are available for 3310 winches. I haven't found much in my search and hoping these arn't going to be scrap. Thats the way I'm leaning atm.

Re: Timeing gear Idler

The idler shaft is threaded all the way out. The bolt that was in there is not threaded all the way i guess like a carriage bolt you could say. It seems some of the idler shafts are not threaded. so i guess what i am trying to find out if i have the incorrect bolt or incorrect shaft.

When i took it apart it was totally loose and on the way to a catastrophic failer, I believe i got to it just in t...

Re: Main crank seal

I will say I have been using Permatex High Tack on both sides of the gasket (R70483 which subs to R97351) that is between the block and flywheel housing. Replace that while you have the engine out, if you still have the flywheel housing mounted on the block. I had to split one ag tractor last year ...
