Re: Thread Search for price
I will try and look at it later tonight and see. And yes you are correct, when i am pushing something solid (i.e. stump) both tracks spin and dig. So I will look into brake band possibility. So that will lead me to another question. Brake even if worn will it cause the symptoms that I have going on?...

Re: Thread Search for price
Jim B...OMG I had a brain fart. Yes Right side as sitting on unit is my problem. To early in the a.m. when I posted today I guess. No no track slippage when using. Only problem is engaging to turn. (right one only works occasionally and when it does work it is not correct or as fast as left side to ...

Re: Thread Search for price
Yes I meant steering clutches, and it is adjusted as far as it can go. Sorry that I said finals. These are the answers I kinda expected I was just hoping for a rough number. Thank you all for your input. Is there a general site I can go to so I can see actually prices? On Lavoys site (unless I am lo...

Thread Search for price
I tried doing a thread search for this and didn't find anything so have a general question. I think I am going to tear into final drive on a 420C. I know I am asking an open ended question and I know there are a ton of variables but will ask anyways. what would be a general low and high end average ...

Re: 420 track questions
Thank you. And understand completely what you are saying. That is why i asked. And to give you my thinking is this. It was going to cost me $13000 to put a driveway in. Way more then I thought it would to upgrade an existing and expanding a current drive. So I bought a good running 420C that I knew ...

420 track questions
I am sure a couple of the questions I am going to have are going to seem stupid but gunna ask anyways. I bought a 420 C (5 roller) just to do some stump work and put a driveway in. Have no intention on keeping it when I am done. When I bought it I new the right side didn't work the best. Sometimes w...

Scarifier Identify
Rd30a08f7a1075c1372bb8d439cca2aa2.jpg Going to try inserting a picture. I have a scarifier on the back of a 420C and having a hard time finding out a model number. Looking to get a couple teeth for it if I can. Hopefully this works. This is not my picture (one I found on the net) but same scarifier...

Re: 420C and what do I need?
Thank you jim. Reverser is on right side. I engaged it but last owner said he didnt use it cuz it seemed to "wine". I didnt notice a wine but i literally only used it for like 10 feet. I took carb off cleaned it real good and flushed out my fuel system. Cleaned and reset plugs and unit actually runs...

420C and what do I need?
I have been doing some reading and a little confused as to what all I need. I have a 420C 5 roller serial number 116855. I have a Jensales operators manual for it but not sure what other manuals I need. I would like a service manual. My unit has a reverser on it and from what I have gathered I need ...
