Did the stupid thing, ran the fuel tank low, ended up with some creeping crud in the fuel lines. Took apart the fuel lines, flushed them out, took out injection pump screen and cleaned it too, but when I went to reconnect the fuel line to the inlet fitting, the entire top of that inlet fitting crack...

From the looks of it, and reading a lot on here, it appears to be a 1966 straight 350 unit. It's been repainted, and I think that's when the plate got removed.
