The engine just gave up the ghost in my 1960 440IC 2 cylinder gas. Blew head gasket hydraulic lock blew piston rod broke and cracked block in line with no 2 piston. I converted My 440IC to 12 volt in 2000. Previous owner disconnected gen and installed 12 v coil. Just ran it till the bat was dead then charged it. I added the std Chev alternator and have never regretted the swap. The bracket wasnt bad but I reworked it twice to get out all vibration. It will need...

There is a lot of play in the main arm where it attaches to the crawler. Did this blade have bushings between the frame and crawler mount? Looks to be at least 1/4 inch clerance around pivot pin. Your crawler looks good. Is your hydraulic blade standard or a manual blade converted? Would you post a few pictures from the back of the blade and from the top looking down.
