Re: right track quit working
put a 1/8 pipe plug in the open hole and no more air leak. Did not find a cap screw and nut like the parts manual shows. going to replace hose and fire off and check track movement. Next step is to drain steering clutch housing and clean out to see if there is really any catastrophic failure or not.

Re: right track quit working
pulled the left steering clutch cover , disconnected hose air checked the manifold and it held pressure. left clutch manifold is Not drilled and tapped for a plug like the right side. Has anyone seen this before?? The disturbing thing to me is the pieces in the bottom of the steering clutch housing.

Re: right track quit working
I will be pulling the cover off the left steering clutch housing to check the left side clutch manifold and see if it has a plug or not. I used a magnet to check around in the clutch housing just to see if the plug was n the bottom. I did not find a plug BUT i found several pieces that I think might...

Re: right track quit working
Well I wasn't smart enough to check oil pressure before going in the steering clutch housing. I pulled every thing off and opened it up and the Hose is Not blown. I removed the hose from the upper fitting and air checked the hose and have air blowing out of a hole in the clutch pressure manifold. it...

Re: right track quit working
have not had a chance to check any pressures or try to follow the flow charts, but I have a question. With the engine running in neutral is there still pressure to the clutches and if so if I removed the brake adjusting plug would I be able to see oil spraying if the hose is ruptured. I'm just tryin...

I know I have been down this road for left track not working Years Ago. I had to replace the hose in the final drive . I don't remember how I checked to make sure. I have the manuals, I have looked through the forums ( i Guess not in the right places) Just can't find how to verify before pulling it ...

Re: Trans cooler.
You are absolutely correct. This is what happens to me when I don't look before opening my mouth. :( I know I had the same issue a year or two ago. flushed it out and refilled. I have not been running in water and I'm in central Texas. We have not had a lot of rain. It seems to be way to much for co...

Trans cooler.
I changed out the trans filter in front of the radiator and the oil is very milky. Will be checking the cooler for a leak. if the cooler is bad can a simple after market trans cooler work (air cooled) or is it recommended to go back with the water cooled one. In the automotive world there are two tr...

Re: Raise bucket on non running jd 350
one click is a bad connection. clean battery terminals . clean ground cable and make sure you have a good ground. clean positive at starter also. more than likely it will be terminals at battery or battery cables at battery. could have an internal battery issue

Re: 450c hlr adjustments
Homeless are gone. Adjustments are done. test drive performed. Trees fell over, dirt was pushed and piled up for road base. High range goes away after warming up so there will come a time for high range rebuild. Has good strong low and reverse so that is the way it is for now. Thank you for all the ...

Re: 450c hlr adjustments
And now for the Paul Harvey version. The rest of the story. I found some homeless found a red rag and moved their bed roll into the bell housing. Rats now I have to clean out the bell housing. You finally think your on a roll and you get another kick. :D But as they say Keep Smiling, it makes...
