Yup looked at it tonight and it was a B with C stickers. Disappointing but now I have to decide if it's worth it. He's only asking 3900 for it. Clutches don't scare me too much but he had to give it some starting fluid to get her going. Ran great after and claims it normally starts right up. That ba...

450C stuck steering clutches?
Going to take a look at a 450C with loader and backhoe. Guy says both steering clutches are stuck from sitting.
Does that happen with the C`s with wet clutches or is it a sign of a bigger issue?
My only experience is with a 350B that I replaced one side.

Machine got flooded under water before i could get someone to pull it out. Dropped rear weight today and previous owner had plugs already removed. Ran a wire in one ...

Thanks for the tips! Got a few pics uploaded but will try to get some more in later. Here is the neighbor helping with his little excavator after I got stuck. Hard to see from this pic but the left tool/battery box is touching the ground. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s605/Hampy123/photo2_zpsf...

Need advice on drying out swamped 350B
Made a big rookie mistake. I was about 3/4 done clearing some tall grass and brush from the "damp" area near my house when I hit a sink hole/underground spring. I the blink of an eye the soil turned to goo and ate the left side of the crawler. Back of the track sunk right in to the top of the track,...

Thanks for the info. The machine is "new" so i haven't got a chance to go through it. Saved it a few weeks ago from someone who was going to sell it for scrap! Changing all fluids is on the to do list before putting her to work but i was confused by the red fluid. I have 3 farm tractors but never kn...

350B radiator oil cooler?
What do the two oil lines on the bottom of the radiator go to? Oil, hydraulics, reverser, power steering? I pulled the radiator to rebuild the water pump and when i removed the two lines red fluid came out. I was under the impression everything but the engine took hydraulic fluid? This is my first c...
