Just went down and got an 1 1/2" pipe plug and some "majic blue". I think that is what it's called. It is thread sealer that won't break down in anything petroleum based like tranny fluid, hydro fluid, diesel, etc.

What is the "cap" that goes on top of the steering clutch housing under the seat of a 350C? In the john deere parts diagram they call it a "pipe plug". If I go to a hardware store and get a "pipe plug" (I'm guessing 1 1/2") would that be correct? I also see that in the parts diagram there is a "gask...

Just bought this dozer and it is going to need the left side steering clutch and I noticed that the right side final drive housing is cracked. Anybody know where I can find the housing and the best place to buy clutches?
