Brush hog for 420

If it has four blades, all the better. I have a 5' that only had 2 blades when I got it. What a difference it made when I put 4 blades on it. I think it made it all that much easier on my machine when mowing and chopping up small trees. Just my nickels worth.

rt hand steering clutch does not work

Jeff: You might try the John Deere Bookstore at,www.jdtechinfo.com/index they have a Service Manual, SM2019, listed for $80.85, and a Parts Catalog, PC505, listed for $68.37, or go to ebay and search for the PC505 parts catalog that is listed for $19.99. There is a member on this site, a guy by name...

440 final drive gears

The PC573 is for the 440IC (gas powered) the PC609 is for the 440ICD (diesel powered) thats probably the difference in gear teeth numbers

Do you have the right Parts Catalog. My 440ICD parts catalog says PC609. I got it from the John Deere Bookstore.

Hydraulic oil foams when lowering bucket

What would cause the hydraulic oil to foam and overflow the reservoir when I lower the bucket on my 831 loader. Any help on this would be appreciated
