If it is indeed just the filters,change your hyd. oil also. Well I changed the oil and filter in the hydraulic tank and it didn't affect the transmission. It still will not pull in reverse after about1 hour of running. It still pulls forward real good.I was told that under the 2 floor board panels ...

if you are sitting in the seat, under your right elbow.....it's not a spin on... raise the access panel, it's inside the oil tank...you have to remove several bolts to get to it..... be sure to get an extra gasket, just in case you tear it......if i remember right... What is wrong with a 1984 450 C loader when it will not pull in reverse after it gets warmed up good. It pulls in all forward gears good all day but after about 1 hour of running it will not move at all in reverse. Tired of going around in circles. Hope me out...
