I need the dozer to remove a hillside, or rather to flatten it out to make a level spot to put up a 30X40 shop building. I will use the soil to fill in low spots on site so it will just be a matter of pushing the dirt to the sides untill I get it to the level I want. Once I have that task completed,...

Who said I was "leaving"? I simply said I would look elsewhere. As in, other sources. Yes I'm sure there are plenty of machines available from more than one dealer even closer than Sioux Falls. If I were able to pay their prices, I'd have gone to one of them in the first place.

Thank you both for that information. Unfortunately, shipping for either machine would come close to their purchase prices. I could probably haul it on my 18 ft trailer, but it would still be roughly 3000 miles round-trip. I just can't make that option make sense.

I reckon from the sounds of crickets chirping, nobody has or knows of a decent dozer for sale. Thanks much, I'll look elsewhere.

I live in Western SD, and am looking for a decent used dozer. Doesn't have to be a JD as long as it is mechanically sound. Let me know what you have and transport options. I deal in cash.
